Lauren Richardson

Lauren Richardson is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, practising in the Business Law Group.  Her practice focuses on advertising, commercial and regulatory law related to foods and beverages, natural health products, cosmetics, drugs, medical devices, pesticides, and other consumer products. Lauren’s practice also includes provincial licencing and regulatory and corporate compliance related to multi-level marketing, direct selling, and consumer protection.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Lauren worked in regulatory affairs with a focus on environmental regulations and new substance notifications for pharmaceuticals and biotechnologies. Lauren has industry experience in the pharmaceutical industry and chemical and polymer distribution.

Lauren completed her law degree at the University of Edinburgh, where she served as a member of the Graduate Law Society. During her time in Scotland, she pursued long time interests and new hobbies like rowing, cycling and golfing.
