Michelle Kumar

Michelle Kumar is an associate in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office.

Michelle joins the firm after completing her summer and articling terms with a full-service Bay Street firm in downtown Toronto and then working with a local busy Waterloo firm, where she was involved in the sale and acquisition of businesses, corporate restructures, shareholder and partnership agreements, and general corporate advice regarding numerous legal issues.

Michelle completed a judicial clerkship under the Hon. Judge Mark McConnell at the 18th District Court of Michigan. She also spent time shadowing Justice King at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Justice Trotter at the Ontario Court of Appeal.
