Lee Sykes

Lee Sykes is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Toronto office and member of the firm's Securities Practice Group. Lee practises predominantly in the areas of securities, corporate finance, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions.

He received both his JD and his bachelor of arts (honours), major in Political Studies, from Queen's University. He has also achieved a certification in international business law from the Bader College in the United Kingdom, where he focused on international arbitration and trade.

Lee works closely with clients ranging from early-stage startups to multi-national public companies with a focus in the mining, cannabis and technology sectors. He has experience working on a wide range of transactions, including going-public transactions, equity and debt financings, public and private M&A, fund of funds and private equity transactions, and corporate governance and continuous disclosure matters.
