Michelle Cicchino

Michelle Cicchino practises municipal law, including land use planning, expropriation, municipal property tax assessment and municipal finance. She also provides advice in real property disputes and landlord/tenant disputes.

She has represented all sides of the development industry, including developers, municipalities and community organizations. She engages and works with experts in the fields of land use planning, real estate appraisal, traffic engineering, economics, business loss quantification and business valuation.

Michelle has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as various administrative tribunals, including the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (formerly the Ontario Municipal Board), the Assessment Review Board and the Landlord and Tenant Board. Her practice also involves alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.

Michelle currently sits as treasurer on the executive of the Canadian Property Tax Association, Ontario Chapter. She is also a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the County of Carleton Law Association and the Ontario Expropriation Association.
