Tara Amiri-Khaledi

Tara Amiri-Khaledi is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office. She specializes in the areas of corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions and mining law.

Tara’s practice involves advising clients on a range of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and public and private financings. She also provides ongoing advice to issuers regarding corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations and various other Canadian corporate and securities law compliance matters.

Having previously worked as in-house legal counsel at a full service financial services company, Tara understands value of tailored and practical legal advice and strives to understand her clients’ business and provide sensible advice that suits each client’s legal and business needs.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, she was an in-house legal counsel at a financial services company and a lawyer at another international law firm.

Tara also serves as a member of the board of directors of Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland.
