What’s your background?
I lead the Business Solutions and Change team and my role is to successfully deliver change initiatives and projects across the firm, in order to support the firm's strategy.
Why did you choose to work here?
I have been at the firm for 12 years and have seen it really evolve and develop into an international law firm. It's a great place to work, we are always looking at ways to continuously improve and my team are integral in supporting the firm to enable positive change.
What makes Gowling WLG different to other firms?
It has to be both the people and the opportunities to develop. I started out as an IT Project Manager and have been given the opportunity to develop and hone my skills which are valuable in my current role. An important part of the role involves communication skills and teamwork. When we are working on projects, I lead steering and user groups with people from across the firm. Everyone is always approachable, friendly and willing to get involved.
What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about working here?
It really is the culture. You are given the opportunities to develop all within a friendly and supportive environment.
What do you do outside work?
I love to ski and spend time with my two young children and husband.
